The Project: Beyond a Utilitarian Fix
Fire escapes are often purely functional, but our goal was to create a replacement that was not only safe and fully compliant but also aesthetically pleasing. We aimed to remove the harsh, commercial feel often associated with steel staircases and introduce a more thoughtful, residential quality.
Our Solution: Custom Fabrication & Ornamental Details
Our team designed, fabricated, and installed this multi-level steel fire escape, focusing on durability and design in equal measure.
- Robust & Safe: The structure is engineered from high-quality steel, featuring anti-slip checker plate (durbar plate) treads and landings to ensure secure footing in all weather.
- Bespoke Design: Instead of standard bars, we incorporated a subtle ornamental twist into the balustrades. This custom detail brings a touch of artistry to the structure, elevating it from a simple utility to a considered architectural feature.
- Durable Finish: The entire staircase is protected with a modern, durable grey finish, ensuring it stands up to the elements while complementing the building’s exterior.
